Product Description

I just love to shake, shake, shake a pretty snowglobe!! For my students here in Louisiana, it's the closest they get to seeing snow. These speechie snowglobes require absolutely NO PREP!! Just print and go!

► The 16 sound speciific snowglobe pages require black ink ONLY and are great for addressing phonemic awareness and articulation skills.

► There is one page for each of these phonemes: /r/, vocalic r, /r/ blends, /s/, /z/, /s/ blends, /l/, /l/ blends, TH, /f/, /v/, SH, CH, /t/, /d/, /k/, and /g/.

► Along with the snowglobe page of your choice (to match your students’ goals), each child will need glue of some kind and a pair of scissors ✂ ✂ ✂ .

All of my activities are tested with my own students in my speech room prior to selling, and this one got my students' stamp of approval ✔.

TO USE:

► Discuss the student’s target sound with him/her and have the student apply phonemic awareness skills in order to decide which pictures on the bottom portion of the page have that target sound in their name.

► Have your students color the pictures that DO have the sound in their name. For phonological awareness practice, you could also have them tell where they hear the sound (beginning, middle or end position).

► Next, have students cut out each colored image and paste it on the snowglobe.

► Finally, for articulation practice, have students practice saying the words. • If they are at the phrase level, give them a carrier phrase to practice the target word in. • For students at the sentence level, have them make up a sentence using the word they glue on the snowglobe.

As an added bonus, you can send the finished product home for more practice!
