Call it ‘Noughts and Crosses’ or call it ‘Tic-Tac-Toe’ (... depending on where you come from); either way, this classic game can provide lots of opportunities for your students to practice /s/ at word and sentence levels.
This document contains 4 color and 4 blackline pages of ready-to-go grids filled with pictures to cue production of /s/ in initial, medial and final positions, all while having fun playing ‘Noughts and Crosses’. These grids are great to use with those who are not yet confident readers.
Print and laminate the colored pages for repeated use with dry-erase markers, or print off the blackline versions for practice at home.
