Have students keep track of which sounds they are working on throughout the year by writing in on each page the sound they are working on and the level (word, phrase, sentence, etc. AND initial, medial and/or final position). Have students glue pictures (samples on page 2) of words that have their sound or write words with their sounds in blank space. When students have mastered that sound, check the star for them so they know they have completed one of their sounds. Enjoy!
