Product Description
Looking for an activity that can target speech sounds, following directions, AND answering wh- questions??

These speech sound puzzles are perfect for students or groups who are working on the K and/or G sounds and language! This pack includes 12 puzzles (each provided in color and black and white options).

2 K initial puzzles
2 K medial puzzles
2 K final puzzles
2 G initial puzzles
2 G medial puzzles
2 G final puzzles

Each puzzle contains 10 target words and comes with a corresponding list of 10 wh- questions (who, what, where, when, why). The wh- questions are also useful for eliciting speech sounds in sentences.

COLOR PUZZLES:
Print, cut, and laminate the pieces. Let students piece the puzzle together as they practice their target sounds. When the puzzle is pieced together, it is time for wh- questions! You could also put velcro on the back of the puzzles pieces and have them complete the puzzle on a felt board.

BLACK & WHITE PUZZLES:
Let your students color the puzzle themselves as they practice their target sounds. This could also serve as a following directions activity (e.g., color the car yellow; color the animal under the cat green). Next, cut and paste the puzzle together on a separate piece of paper (regular paper, or construction paper for added color and durability). I would suggest having them piece the entire puzzle together before giving them the glue so they don't glue a piece out of place! If your students need extra help with completing the puzzle, you could have them complete it over top of a copy of the black and white puzzle and let them match the pieces where they go.
This is an activity that could last multiple sessions (e.g., color and say target words in the first session; cut, color, paste and answer wh- questions during the second session).
