Speech Therapy. “ARTICULATION CARRYOVER FUN! Charades Kit” which is a fun way to help students with articulation goals generalize their sounds beyond drills. These are for the students who have reached their articulation goals in a structured setting, but errors still occur in conversation. 84 charade cards (with words and picture) included, in addition to other goodies! The picture on the charades card helps students who have difficulty decoding or students who need visuals.
Note: This packet does NOT include articulation cards. It is expected you use your own articulation cards.
Summary: Student is presented with an articulation card (i.e. “rabbit”) to say, and picks a charades card (i.e., “Playing baseball.”. He/she then says the word (“rabbit”) repeatedly while acting out the charade (“Playing baseball”), while other students make guesses. Student who guesses first gets a token. (More detailed instructions in packet).
It’s a win-win when students are improving their articulation skills and having fun at the same time!

84 Charade Cards (2.4” x 2.4”) with picture and words.
48 ruby (blue and red) round tokens. (print as many as you want.)
Word, phrase, sentence, story (2.4” x 2.4”) cards
Reminder cards (3.5” x 3.5”) cards (looks like post-its)
You will need:
Standard White Printer Paper, 8.5” x 11” (preferably cardstock)
Print and laminate the activity pages.
Cut cards, and tokens.
