A page of eighteen contrastive pairs of “W” versus “R” words. This shows the student that in saying the pre-vocalic /r/ incorrectly, he/she changes the meaning of the word. Thus, it emphasizes the importance of using different articulators to produce the paired words.
A page of eighteen contrastive pairs of “R” versus “W” words. Same as previous page, except /r/ word comes before /w/ word. I prefer the previous page with the/w/ first.
A page of the same eighteen /r/ words when student has had success with the contrastive pairs.
