Description

This 80 card boom deck includes 6 digital IEP data collection probes. These digital language assessment probes collect baseline data and progress monitor IEP goals for speech therapy data collection.

The language assessment collects data for:

  • 3-picture sequencing
  • Verb tenses
  • Basic narrative skills.
  • Future, present progressive and present tense -s, and regular and irregular past tense are all included.

1. Basic 3-step sequencing (10 cards)

2. Identify pictures by what will happen, what is happening, what already happened (30 cards, 3 per sequence)

3. Regular Past Tense-Match the verb tenses in words to the correct picture. Present tense -s and -ing are both used. Both the words and pictures are set to randomize so they are not in the same position or order so that students cannot simply pick up on the pattern but truly need to know the skill to show it correctly) 10 cards

4. Irregular Past Tense-Match the verb tenses in words to the correct picture. Present tense -s and -ing are both used. Both the words and pictures are set to randomize so they are not in the same position or order so that students cannot simply pick up on the pattern but truly need to know the skill to show it correctly) 10 cards

5. Mixed past tense sentence fill-in verb tenses. Students are given a close sentence activity with picture sequence in order and they need to type in the missing verb tenses. This will self-grade (both present tense -s and present progressive -ing are accepted) 10 cards

6. Mixed past tense-text boxes for the students to type their responses or the therapist can type dictated sentences.

Use these probes as your baseline and then readminister to measure progress in a CLEAN way. No more collecting data while teaching. This is a must-have for any speech therapist or special education teacher monitoring language progress.
