Product Description
A grammar activity for present tense sentence building with pronouns, specifically
he/she is+verbing and they+are+verbing. This is a convenient and helpful approach for teaching this aspect
of grammar. Each page has several action pictures to elicit a sentence. In addition, each page
includes a sentence starter, some with @Boardmaker symbols.

This is a low-prep activity! All you do is print it (on cardstock)
and laminate it. To get fancy, you can collate and include a cover page (provided).
Secure with two book rings, after punching holes on top of the page. Another option
is to bind with plastic comb.

This set includes 10 pages as follows:
He+is+verbing (2 p.)
She+is+verbing (2 p.)
They+are+verbing (2 p.)
Combo of He/She +is+verbing (2 p.)
Combo of He/She is+verbing and They+are+verbing (2 p.)

To use:
Present the He+is+verbing pages first. (blue)
*Throughout, help student with appropriate support.
Proceed to She+is+verbing. (pink)
When student has mastered the blue & pink pages, move onto the he/she is+verbing (green).
Try the They+are+verbing. (yellow)
When student has mastered the previous pages, move onto the
combination page (orange) of he/she +is+verbing and they+are+verbing.

To further fade the prompting, hide the sentence starter on top of the page with a post-it.
Another idea, is to place a token on accomplished circles on the mat; You can even use
Play-doh and have student press it on the circle for students who need this reinforcement.
