Product Description
This is a speech therapy motivational tool I use with my students. Each cloud has an objective and/or goal. When the students progress to the next objective/goal, they move their dragon to that cloud. "Climb the Clouds" also encourages students to take responsibility for their own success.

This tool has a place for the student's name and their target sound, so they can be individualized to each student.

There are two different goal sheets in this product: a goal sheet containing articulation goals/objectives that do NOT target blends and one goal sheet that for those who are working on a sound(s) that DO target blends. The document containing the dragons give the students the option of a green or blue dragon. The page with the dragons has 8 blue dragons and 8 green dragons. This page can be reprinted/copied as many times as necessary.

First goal sheet contains the following:

Laminate for reuse!

This is how I use it my speech therapy sessions:

I laminate the dragons and cut them out. If I have time, I really like to add Velcro to the dragon and the cloud page. Doing this secures the dragon to the page. When I’m running short on time, I laminate the dragons, cut them out, then paper clip the dragon to the student’s cloud page.

I have the student place their dragon on the cloud/objective they are working on. For example, if they are working towards mastering the objective on the first cloud, their dragon will sit on the first cloud. Once that objective is mastered, they move their dragon to the next cloud.

This item also serves as a great tool during ARC meetings. I show the parents and other educators what the student must do in order to meet a goal, and depending on the type of meeting, it’s also a good way to show them the progress the student has made since the last annual review.
