These 12 open-ended games will help keep students engaged and focused and let you focus on goals and data.
The games are open-ended. You can address articulation, language, and fluency skills.
To play, each student chooses a starting place. The students draw what they land on to build a scene on a homework page. There are spaces to write homework words. You just have to check the instructions for home practice at the top of the page - a timesaver for you!
The games don't have a starting or ending point. The game ends when you say it does! See PREVIEW for playing options.
The themes include: robots, dinosaurs, unicorns, trains, ice cream, super heroes, pizza, aliens, cities, aquariums, farms, and rainforests.
The games are easy prep. Print the two-page game boards, trim, and glue into folders. Copy the B&W homework pages, one per student. To store, put the homework page inside the folder and fold it up.
Use these games when you need a lot of data. I use them before progress reports are due to collect data and check skills.
