These no prep, low ink speech therapy parent handouts provide quick references for parents to use, and they are centered around common seasonal activities and daily routines. These speech therapy parent handouts are quick and EASY for parents to use, since they're already completing these activities at home, anyways! Send these parent handouts home with your speech therapy or special education students year round! Families are busy- these print and go worksheets will help take the stress out of carryover.

Each worksheet targets the following receptive and expressive language areas:
-sequencing events of daily routines and seasonal activities and retelling the steps (picture supports are provided, along with helpful tips for parents on prompting)
-following directions, such as before/ after/ first, then
-basic concepts: spatial concepts related to the activity
-WH questions: explains to parents what Wh -questions they can ask during activities
-describing: parent is prompted to either provide or ask their child the category and object function of a suggested item- in addition, sensory visuals are provided to encourage describing appearance, smell, sounds, touch, and taste
-Grammar: the parent provides an example of a present, past, and future tense verb, and a further target is recommended for the child. In addition, this area targets plurals.

The following seasonal and daily routine speech therapy carryover worksheets are provided: baking apple pie, raking leaves, making caramel apples, making a snowman, making hot chocolate, wrapping a present, camping, building a sand castle, going fishing, rainy day, flying a kite, growing a plant, making a banana split, making lemonade, crossing the street, making toast, packing lunch, washing hands, getting ready for bed & getting ready for school
