Each worksheet targets the following receptive and expressive language areas:
-sequencing events of daily routines and seasonal activities and retelling the steps (picture supports are provided, along with helpful tips for parents on prompting)
-following directions, such as before/ after/ first, then
-basic concepts: spatial concepts related to the activity
-WH questions: explains to parents what Wh -questions they can ask during activities
-describing: parent is prompted to either provide or ask their child the category and object function of a suggested item- in addition, sensory visuals are provided to encourage describing appearance, smell, sounds, touch, and taste
-Grammar: the parent provides an example of a present, past, and future tense verb, and a further target is recommended for the child. In addition, this area targets plurals.
