SPEECH THERAPY. “Rockin’ Pre-Vocalic R’s” packet which is a unique and visual approach to articulation. This activity uses a graphic organizer visual to single out the /r/ sound. There are 10 visual organizers with 7 prevocalic /r/ words on each for a total of 70 words to practice! The visual aspect sometimes helps with the student’s focus on the /r/ sound, as he/she attempts to make the /r/ sound in the word. I have also included a visual cue card to remind the child of how to place his/her articulators. As an added bonus, I included 70 flash cards (blended, unblended form) with the same words on the graphic organizers. Note: Be sure the student can make the /r/ sound in isolation before attempting this activity.
This packet includes:
Graphic organizer /r/ with a vowel sound.
