“SOUND IN ISOLATION PRACTICE.” This activity helps student practice these phonemes at the sound level: B,D,F,G,K,L,M,N,P,S,T,V,Z,CH,SH. This packet is designed for students struggling at the sound level. Personally, I have used this with students in the special education classrooms, and/or students with apraxia. There are 16 mats. Each mat has a fun picture on it representing the sound to work on with 14 sound tokens to place on the mat. It gives them plenty of practice of a sound and may keep them motivated as they place the sounds on the mat. It is very easy and convenient to use.
There is a lot of prep involved, but once you put it together, just grab and go!
16 colorful mats each with 14 token (with sound) to put on mat. Mats for the sounds:
B,D,F,G,K,L,M,N,P,S,T,V,Z,CH,SH. I have two mats for “B.”
