My students love the card game "War," so I came up with a way for them to practice their articulation sounds while playing the game!
How to play:
Deal the cards out facedown. Students keep their cards in a pile and do not look at them. Each player turns one card over simultaneously. Every student will say the word on their card. Whoever turned over the highest number card picks up all the cards and adds them to his/her pile.
If there is a tie, put one card facedown and then another card face up on top of that. Whoever has the highest face up card wins that “war” and adds the cards to his/her pile.
This packet includes cards for the following sounds: l, s, z, v, r
in all three positions (initial, medial, final)
