Product Description

With one resource, target all speech sounds in the initial and final positions of words, as well as blends. PLUS target the following language skills all in one ready to use material: vocabulary, functions, categories, associations, grammar skills, and wh-questions!

This product is PERFECT for mixed groups! Just print the tree sheets and “ornaments” that you need and away you go!

To prepare: Print a tree sheet (pages 3-14) and ornaments (pages 15-42) for each child in a group. So before you begin, each student should have a tree sheet as well as 5-10 pictures to color and use.

To use:

(Speech Sound Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the speech sound pictures that they are given. Then, they can say each word, create a phrase, or make a sentence about each picture while gluing the items on the tree.

(Vocabulary and Function Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the pictures that they are given. Then, they can label each item and state its function while gluing the items on the tree.

(Category Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the category cards that they are given. Then, they can name items in the stated categories while gluing the items on the tree.

(Go-Together Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the pictures that they are given. Then, they can match the pictures they have colored with the pictures that are already on the tree. Students can also say why the items go together. *This skill contains two trees and two sets of picture cards.*

(Grammar Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the pictures that they are given. Then, they can create a sentence about each action while gluing the pictures on the tree. Please see pages 8 through 13 of this product for specific prompts and examples to target present progressive verbs, third person singular verbs, future tense verbs, regular past tense verbs, irregular past tense verbs, and subjective pronouns. *Two sets of action pictures are included for additional grammar skill practice.*

(WH-Question Ornaments) – Students should color and cut out the wh-question cards that they are given. Then, they can answer each question while gluing the ornaments on the tree.
