These articulation cootie catchers/fortune tellers are designed for students working on sentence-level generalization of mixed positions of sounds, as well as multisyllabic words. Included are mixed positions of [th, ch, sh, j, y, k, g, f, v, s, z, l] and vocalic /r/, initial position of [s, l, r] blends and prevocalic r, as well as 2-, 3-, and 4-syllable words.
To play, have the student follow verbal instructions to assemble, or use the visual instructions included in this pack. When it is one player’s turn, they get to pick a colored number. That is how many times you should alternate the cootie catcher. Now, pick a small number. Once again, alternate the paper that many times. On the final turn, pick a number, open the flap, and say the sentence.
I hope you enjoy these fun and engaging cootie catchers for articulation generalization!
