These language cootie catchers are designed for students working on both expressive and receptive language goals. Goals included are wh- questions, functions, categories, regular and irregular verbs, third person singular verbs, regular and irregular plurals, synonyms, antonyms, describing, and following directions.
To play, have the student follow verbal instructions to assemble, or use the visual instructions included in this pack. When it is one player’s turn, they get to pick a colored number. That is how many times you should alternate the cootie catcher. Now, pick a small number. Once again, alternate the paper that many times. On the final turn, pick a number, open the flap, and say the sentence.
