This is a fun speech therapy activity for children with language impairments. Print off the hands, laminate and attach to a Popsicle stick. Then print the pictures, cut out, and laminate. Using Velcro, attach the pictures to the hands. The students can name a category and then write in up to 5 more items in that category on the fingers of the hand.
This activity can also be used for naming opposites and for comparing and contrasting 2 pictures.
This activity can be used with children with language impairments who need to work on naming skills, word finding skills, and general language concepts.
