Distance Learning Speech
This is an interactive resource designed for use on iPad, laptop or PC.
Students watch the progress of the Speech Generator as they practice their sound while working their way to a question related to each target word.
Fourteen resource files are included. Each resource file included may be used to gain 100 articulation trials using 10 target words. Each resource file also includes one language development question for each of the 10 target words, which makes the resource work for mixed groups. The language development question also initiates transfer of the target articulation sound into a sentence context.
To view a sample, download our free Speech/Language Generator R file listed in our store.
This resource includes 2 files each for the following: Initial R, AIR, EAR, IRE, OR, ER, AR.
To use this product:
The first target word appears in a central box on the screen.
Have the student say the word.
After saying the word, the student should tap the 1 (yellow button) to advance the generator (which results in an action by the generator as it creates a question).
The student should practice the target word again, then tap the 2 button to again advance the generator.
Students can watch the progression of the generator working to create a question.
Continue practicing the word and tapping the numbers until all 10 button lights are green.
When the last button is green, a question related to the target word appears (is created by the generator).
Tap NEXT to proceed to the next target word.
