Need a clever way to get your students to discuss and review world history concepts for 45 minutes straight? This review activity asks students to become various historical terms/themes/concepts and try to become the class "Playha" through a SPEED DATING activity.
Included in this lesson are teacher's guide (virtually teachers just need to print and monitor! Student directions and that's it!), Dating guide, prep sheet and a final discussion form are all included.
The idea is that students will participate in a speed dating exercise where they will meet various dates usually 10 dates of 4 minutes each and work on building connections and relationships between the major historical themes that are tested.
Students are amazed how much material they covered in such a little amount of time and you will have a blast listening to them make the connections.
