This speed lab is a fun and easy way to get the kids up and thinking about the meaning of speed. In this lab, students perform three different types of movements, sideway skip, bunny hop, and walking backwards. The students measure their distance, record time, and calculate their speed. They analyze data from their group and draw conclusions. This lab required very little time to set up but resulted in lots of laughter and learning. I hope your students will enjoy this speed lab as much as mine did.
