Product Description
In my experience, every classroom has at least a few students who will rush through their work with the sole aim of 'getting it done', rather than 'getting it right'. The work can be careless and messy - or it may just not be their best work. These speeding tickets provide a great reminder to students that you are looking for their best work, not their quickest work.

Students aren't keen to receive speeding tickets and be asked to revise their work, so in many classrooms this has led to a real reduction in rushed and poor quality work being submitted.

These tickets have been tested in classrooms and can fit in with almost any classroom management style. I have used these to fine students in classrooms using class economies (including raffle ticket economies), but have also fined students with time off their break or class free time after multiple tickets.

This resource includes four varieties of speeding tickets for students who rush through their work. Designs are suitable for both lower and upper elementary classrooms.

Checkbox options include:
- rewrite it neatly
- check spelling
- check punctuation
- check for accuracy
- a blank option for other 'infringements'
