Have your kids play the great fun game of Bananagrams without having to buy the expensive game. Just simply make it yourself! This game is great to send home for parents to work on spelling with their kids, add kinesthetic/manipulation learning to your spelling practice, have fun friendly competitions for kids, and more! This game can be played with a small group of kids who have the same or different spelling words for the week. It can also be used for sight words, though the crossword may get a little hard.
Directions: Simply print out the cards onto cardstock, I would laminate them to make them sturdy and so they stay nice. There are 5 of each letter, 15 of the vowels and 10 of the more common letters (D, G, H, K, L, M, N, R, S, T) There is also space for empty tiles if you loose a letter or want to create a wild space!
