This book consists of 51 activity pages which help to teach spelling through guided steps
Step 1: Matching letters to create the word which represents the picture.
Step 2: Placing the correct initial letter in front of the other two provided so that the word matches the picture.
Step 3: Making the words independently using the letters that have been provided (cut and paste).
The book has been designed so that there are not un-needed distractions on the page so it will suit children that also have more complex learning needs such as Autism (designed this way).
Each step is small enough that it encourages learning the skill to a mastery level rather than allowing for regression later on.
This has been used with children with mainstream children and those wtih:
Autism, Down Syndrome, CAPD, ADHA, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia to name a few.
