Spelling Games for any Spelling List

Spelling games help motivate your class to learn their spelling. This set of four spelling games can be used with any spelling word list. Print and laminate then write your spelling list words using a dry erase pen. Simply wipe off the words at the end of each week ready for your new list words the following week.

1. Knights of the Realm (3 - 5 players)

Learn 8 new spelling words with this game. Players spell their word correctly and collect a counter. Have a separate spelling grid card for each player so players on different spelling lists can play together. A sight word grid card is also included.

2. Pick a Word (2 or more players)

Revise and consolidate up to 20 spelling words from your own spelling list. Each word spelled correctly earns points.

3. Treasure Map (2 - 4 players)

Players can only progress through the game if they spell the word correctly. Make it a sight word game and players must correctly read the word before they can make a move.

4. Words, Words, Words (2 - 4 players)

Use as both a sight word and spelling game. The player with the most word cards wins.
