These Spelling PreTest and Test pages will save you time and paper! You may type your word list directly onto the pages and prep your lists in advance!
The PreTest pages are designed so that you may print the spelling word list on the same page your students take the pretest on! You will type the words on one side of the page, print, and fold the page. When your students are testing, ask that they keep the page folded in half. Then when the assessment is finished, they may unfold the page and immediately see how they did!
This pack includes 3 different list styles:
* 20 words, 2 bonus
* 10 words, 2 bonus
* 10 words, 10 challenge words, and 2 bonus
I use the 10 words, 10 challenge words, and 2 bonus words format. The PreTest page has space for the students to spell one list of words - all of my students begin with the "traditional word list". On the answer side is space for both the "traditional" words and the "challenge" words. I tell my students that if they score 0-1 word incorrectly on the pretest, then they will take the final assessment with both word lists. To administer this assessment I simply alternate between word lists. I would say... "Spelling list number ..., Challenge word number..."
