Play this alphabet game by smashing the spider labeled with a specific letter. Play as a whole class review activity, homework, or literacy center. This game can be used for letter recognition or phonics. The bundle also includes flash cards and alphabet posters.
Six game boards are included:

The flash cards and posters show both capital and lowercase letters on each card.
Provide each student a copy of the full page spider smash. Draw a flash card from a pile and announce, “I see a spider! His name is ‘S’.” Smash the spider on the card with your thumb and instruct students to do the same with the spider on their paper for each card you draw.
