Product Description
Students use unifix cubes stacked to represent the numbers that each spider is holding. This is an activity that I have my kindergarteners do at the beginning of the year to really cement the difference between numbers. They really like the spider theme. I have found that they really grasp that numbers mean something when they use this station. I place the correct total number of cubes (55 per mat) in the center so that it is self-checking; at least to a certain extent.

I printed this in color, mounted it on 12x18 construction paper, and then laminated it.

BEWARE, this document is 11x17. Make sure to set your printer to the proper ratio so that it prints correctly.
