PART ONE: We're Going On a Web Hunt
Take students on a walk around the school in search of spider webs. Record observations about what you find. There are a few options of pages to take with you. One option has students go back to the webs they found the previous day and check what their spider friends are doing! I wonder why...?!? This is a great start for a spider inquiry.
PART TWO: Building Spider Webs
Students will create spider webs that mimic how spiders do it. There are poster to display showing real webs and writing pages to tell about the webs they created afterwards. Great STEM project!
