Engage students in Reading through Science! Students will “research” spider facts and six different types of spiders including Garden, Jumping, Water, Black Widow, Brown Recluse, and Tarantula.
Students read short informational text to learn facts about spiders in general and facts about six different types of spiders. After the readings student can engage in many different types of activities to develop a deeper understanding of the amazing world of spiders!
Learners will also determine the difference between a spider fact and an opinion. This fun packet has many different engaging activities!
Packet also includes reading for topic and details and writing about spiders. This unit is a no-prep unit. It does include resources (easy cut-out titles) to create classroom anchor charts/posters!
