This is a fun way for students to practice using fact families. The numbers are double digit numbers so that students working on double digit addition and subtraction can get more practice using these skills. This worksheet consists of two pages, which I suggest stapling together so that students can tear the pages apart and put them side by side.
Students can use a paper clip and their pencil to create a spinner. Place the paper clip onto the eraser end of the pencil, then place the eraser on the circle in the middle of the spinner. Then, spin the paper clip around and see which area of the spinner it lands on.
Students should spin the spinner, then write the three numbers it lands on in one of the Fact Family boxes. Then, they can write the two addition and two subtraction problems that make up that fact family.
There is also a box at the end of the worksheet where students can write their own fact family.
