Spin and Say Sight Word Freebie

Liven up your sight word practice with these differentiated sight word mats! These low prep mats make differentiation easy for you. Kids love spinning the spinner to select the words to practise.

The complete set covers Fry's list of the first 500 of the most commonly used words.

You can print the color set on white card stock or save ink and print the black and white mats on color cardstock. I like to use a different color for each of the levels.

I use these mats as a warm up at the guided reading table. Kids can grab a pencil and paper clip (to make a spinner) and start independently on their sight word practise, which gives you time to set up your lesson!
