Pages 2-7 are spin and trace/write syllables (rainbow writing). I’ve created them with the Estrellita Accelerated Reading Program in mind, which teaches all A syllables first then E syllables, and so on. This set is only for syllables with A and syllables with E.
Students will spin and then trace the syllables that appears on the spinner using each color of the rainbow, however, they only use one color for each spin. Once all of the colors of the rainbow have been used on each syllable, children will use a pencil to write the syllable one last time in the last row.
Pages 8-10 are making words using two different syllables. Spin once, write the syllable, spin again, write the second syllable. Read the word. Write the word.
