Spinning the wheel is a fun game activity for children. But this is not just a game! While playing this game young children will get
•to develop their reasoning, comparison, and visual discrimination skills by matching the full colored picture to its outline.
•Practice one to one correspondence while matching pictures
•Identify and name colors and
•Learn and name the parts of a flower.
The activity is intended for toddlers and preschool but it can be used with older children as well according to individual needs. It fits perfectly in a Montessori classroom and can also be used by Special Education and homeschooling.
Children spin the wheel using the arrow. When the arrow stops, children find the matching colored picture to the outlined picture on the spinner and they place it on their card. The first to complete their card with all the flowers is the winner!
