This project infuses art, science and a bit of history as students create their own spinning snake that shows how thermal heat pockets rise. A brief history is mentioned on how these devices were used in the mid 1800's for a practical household purpose. CAUTION THIS PROJECT SHOULD ONLY BE DONE UNDER CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION!
