Product Description
This FUN 2-3 day lesson unites The Odyssey with The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (the first, animated film). Students enjoy the film and its content while identifying allusions made within it to Odysseus and his travels. I based the three page, 24-question worksheet on what my students read from our abridged version of the epic located in an ancient textbook. If you have covered, read or discussed the sirens, Scylla and Charybdis, Helios, Poseidon, Calypso, Athena and a few other main points or if you want to edit the content a bit to suit your own needs, it's perfect for a teacher looking to stress the plot of The Odyssey and concept of allusion (and maybe have a few days to get yourself caught up)!
