Spontaneous Conversations is an activity in which students use the target language (such as American Sign Language) for a specific amount of time without stopping. They are given the topic and suggested vocabulary to practice.
Included is a 12 slide PowerPoint, one slide as the title and one slide as the activity rules. Each additional slide includes a current topic of interest.
My students thoroughly enjoyed this activity and it now makes a regular appearance. Additionally, my students found it a useful tool for reviewing vocabulary they might not use often.
