After reading or watching the movie of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, this follow up activity is great for deepening student understanding! This resource includes 4 new 3D shapes to make into unique pumpkins with faces or without, whichever you want to use! This resource shows you where to cut out and which pieces to fold (they are dashed lines) and the shapes included are cylinder, cone, pyramid, and rectangular prism.
I printed these shapes on white card stock, cut them out, had students put their name on the outside, decorate their 'pumpkin' in their own unique way, helped students glue the shapes together, and used green pipe cleaners for students to make leaves and stems for the top of the shape.
