You can use this activity in a number of different ways. Split the students into small groups and have them each pick a who and a where to get started on their stories, choose a different who and a where for the whole class each day, turn this into a center activity or let each student pick their own who and where. These will give the students inspiration and a starting point to come up with fun, spooky stories. It will make writing fun, even for those students who don't especially enjoy writing and it is great for all different levels of writing. This may be especially fun to use around Halloween time.
