This guided-writing tool is aligned with the Unit 1, Week 5 California Treasures Reading/ Language Arts program. In this expository writing project, students will select a sport to write about and describe. For best results, separate this writing project into different parts. On day 1, have students do the planning and thinking map. On day 2, have students work on their drawing. On day 3, have students write their draft. On day 4, students should edit and revise their writing.
