Sports Math is for Basic Math Skills Development. Propel your Math Students into the Exciting World of Sports, while adding the elements of familiarity, excitement and relevancy to math instruction. Focus sharply on the four basic operations while systematically developing each step in small sequential steps of increasing difficulty. Ultimate mastery may be achieved.
The Audio Narrator introduces math concepts, checks student responses and provides feedback and reinforcement of skills taught. Complete with richly illustrated sports scenes on PDF student activity sheets this program is ideal for individuals or small groups and excellent for remedial use. Skills development activities center around math terminology and sports idiom.
The Sports Math program is a multimedia series of lessons designed to provide highly individualized instruction. Each lesson in the series consists of audio media and three Score-sheets. Students participate in a lesson by listening to the audio and responding on the Score-sheets to problems posed during the commentary between sports announcers on the audio.
The audio media combine expert instruction in the four basic operations with the excitement of familiar sports. Score-sheets employ sports scenes and figures in cartoon form along with mathematics material correlated to the audio.
