This Baseball THEME clip chart will help to motivate your students to try to clip up to OUTSTANDING. The clip chart is based off of a clip chart system developed by Rick Morris.
The clothespins with student names on them start out the day clipped to the middle of the chart on ready to learn. The clothespins are clipped to the left and right edges of the Ready to Learn level of the chart. During the course of the day, the clothespins move up and down the chart based upon the behavioral choices each student makes. Good behavior causes the clothespin to move up one level. Conversely, inappropriate behavior will cause the clothespin to move down one level.
To assemble, print the pennants and cut out. PUNCH two holes along the top corners and thread onto ribbon. Glue or tape the other pages in order vertically. As the READY TO LEARN page starts all of the clips it may need to be larger than the others. You will find this chart has the choice of a single page Ready to Learn or two pages (you will need to slice the bottom page above the lettering and assemble overlapping the two pages to create a larger green section).. I usually back mine with black construction paper or cardstock to make it pop but it is not necessary. Then simply laminate & buy clothespins for each of your students. put it on the wall where students can reach it without distracting others.
