This is a 3-page cut out document. One page is a male cheerleader with the heading Half-Time Activities. One page is made up of 4 pom-poms that has 4 example Half-Time Activities that I have used with my 3rd graders this year. The third page is made up of blank pom-poms so you could add a text box and add your own activities or you could print out the blank pom-poms over and over and write in different activities that come up throughout the year.
This is ideal as a beginning of the year bulletin board inside the classroom that the students will use throughout the year. Students are always coming and going from my classroom for special education classes, speech, occupational therapy, etc... So, when they enter the room they know they can immediately start one of these activities without interrupting class to ask what they should work on.
Every year I have a handful of students that finish every activity super fast and love to ask, "What should I do next?" This is the answer to that question. Once i introduced these activities to my students there are never anymore wasted minutes where students are not sure what to work on.
