Spot the Difference is a clothespin-clipping activity. It can be used for teacher-led small groups, independent centers, early finisher work, or morning work. Students will use visual discrimination to clip the picture that is different. There are 80 different clip strips included.
Students are often asked across a variety of subjects and topics to find the one that is different. These clip strips will help students understand that the different "one" is not like the others, and then they can apply this skill across all areas, especially for assessments.
If you have lessons or assessments that ask to find the one that is different, use similar language and wording as your curriculum to get your students familiar with it.
This resource is a great "beginning of the year" independent center for early learners, as all they need to do is look at the pictures and determine which one is different.
