This game emulates the "Spot It" game and helps students learn the equivalency between percent, decimal and fraction in a fun and interactive way.
All cards are specially designed so that there is one and only one match between any two cards. This demo includes 12 cards. But the full versions feature 52 cards with 446 different combinations to play!
We recommend the following two ways to play. Of course, you can invent your own game!
===== The Dual =====
Deal the cards to two players. Each player plays a card and tries to spot the (single) equivalent number on both cards. For example, 0.15 = 3/20. Another example is 7/2 = 350%.
The player who first finds the match wins both cards. The player with the most cards wins!
===== The Train =====
Place one card face up in the center and deal the rest to all players. Each player turns over one of his/her own cards and finds the match between his/her card and the center card.
The first player to call out the match can add his/her card to the center pile. The game continues until one player gets rid of all his/her cards - That player wins the game!
