Teach older students to make healthy food choices (and empower them with the tools to do it) with this spreadsheet project. Students visit a website to get nutritional information and then use that information to calculate nutrition for a typical fast-food meal. Finally, students answer questions related to the data (the fast-food meal and a healthy alternative) to see how spreadsheets can be used to analyze data. A recommended lesson outline is included with this package.
Note: This project is included with Goodell's Goodies "Computer Science Curriculum - Sixth Grade" (the full curriculum package).
