There are two options for this A-Z beginning sounds activity. You can glue the pictures on the file folder, cut the letters to be matched. Or you can glue the letters on the file folder and cut the pictures for matching. I have more than one student working on this task and I like the generalization that is offered with doing the activity both ways so I printed out two copies of this activity and made two folders, one of each.
Because the pictures/words are not all the typical words I did write the words on the underside of each matching card to help staff remember. For example, I=inch worm, L=leprechaun, O=ogre, V=vacation, and Y=yoga. Some new, fun, spring themed words to mix up your ABC work. I hope you kiddos find these as fun and funny as mine do.
