Want a fun activity for Spring where the kids learn about the Butterfly Life Cycle and integrate symmetry by making a book that will make a lasting memory for them to share at home with their parents? I have your kiddos covered!
Directions: Color the cover, cut the outline and then cut the cover page in half. Next, students fill in the cycle page for the middle and cut. Last students do the symmetry page. This page (pg. 4) gets glued onto the back of the middle page. Staple the book on the two sides of the butterfly, so it opens in the center. This is cute on bulletin boards or in window displays.
