This packet contains fun, engaging spring activities that may be used to help early childhood and kindergarten students practice using pronouns (he, she, they, him, her, them), verbs (stretching, sleeping, balancing, jumping, bouncing, doing splits, building, playing, stacking, jumping, drinking, eating, dancing, painting, climbing, singing, jumping rope, running and doing a handstand) and basic concepts (top, bottom, high, low, between, on, beside, next to, middle, big, little, near, far, up, down, in, out, front, back, behind, same, different, above, below, upside down), as well vocabulary to state where the activity is happening (i.e., beach, water, country side, mountains forest, yard, meadow). There will be surprises on some of the pages to elicit more conversation.

correct sentence pointing to the cue shapes at the bottom of the
2. Ask the question, Where is the cat? Talk about where the cat
is using the targeted concepts.
3. Talk about “What’s funny?” on some of the pages. (i.e., A
skunk in the yard, a spider under the desk, etc.)
4. Token Boards – (pages 31-32) – Practice targeted skills. Use
magnetic tokens or other objects as rewards. Print and use
bingo dot markers for reward.
