There are 17 different Spring theme adapted books included in this bundle that are great for students to work on their sentence building skills. The books come in different levels to differentiate between students abilities and to help them progress through levels as they progress with their sentence building skills.

Adapted books are a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to detail and start to link vocabulary to the images that they see. Each book comes with symbols as well as a 'base page' this is where the symbols can be stored when not in use and for students to select the symbols from to use within the adapted books.

All books come in both col and b/w option for your printing preference except for 3 which are stated below.

This is great for a Spec Ed or Autism Classroom / working with Spec Ed or students with Autism. It's a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to deal, become more familiar with sentence structure and symbols.

Spelling is available to suit both colour/color, grey/gray etc.

The books include;
♦ Count and colour recognition rabbits - Colour only
Students have to count and recognise the colour of the rabbits shown and build the appropriate sentence "I see 1 blue rabbit."
♦ Colour recognition rabbits - Colour only
Level 1 - Students have to recognise the colour of the rabbit shown and choose the appropriate matching symbol - "blue" "red" "yellow."
♦ Colour recognition rabbits - Colour only
Level 2 - Students have to recognise the colour of the rabbit shown and choose the appropriate matching symbols to start building short sentences - "blue rabbit" "red rabbit" "yellow rabbit."
♦ Feelings
Level 1 - Students have to recognise how the rabbit is feeling and choose the appropriate matching symbol - "happy" "sad" "angry."
♦ Feelings
Level 2 - Students have to recognise how the rabbit is feeling and choose the appropriate matching symbols to start building short sentences - "happy rabbit" "angry rabbit."
♦ Feelings
Level 3 - Students have to recognise how the rabbit is feeling and choose the appropriate matching symbols to start building short sentences - "Rabbit is happy" "Rabbit is scared."
♦ How Many?
Level 1 - Students have to count the amount of objets then choose the appropriate matching symbol - "one/1" "two/2."

Level 2 - Students have to count the amount of objects then choose the appropriate matching symbols to start building short sentences - "1/one flower" "2/two butterflies."
♦ How Many?
Level 3 - Students have to count the amount of objects then choose the appropriate matching symbols to start building short sentences - "3 eggs in the nest."
♦ Prepositions
Level 1 - Students have to look at the image and fill in the missing part of the sentence to match the preposition - "The flower is behind the ______."
♦ Prepositions
Level 2 - Students have to look at the image and fill in the missing parts of the sentence to match the preposition - "The ____ is _____ the _____."
♦ Prepositions
Level 3 - Students have to look at the image and find the matching, appropriate symbols to construct the sentence to match the preposition "The butterfly is next to the cat."
♦ What?
Level 1 - Students have to look at the image and choose the appropriate, matching symbol - "cat", "ladybug."
♦ What Doing?
Level 1 - Students have to look at the image and choose the appropriate, matching symbol - "walking", "climbing."
♦ What Doing?
Level 2 - Students have to look at the image and choose the appropriate, matching symbols to build the sentence - "The boy is planting."
♦ What Shape?
Level 1 - Students have to look at the image of the bird, recognise which 2D shape it is hiding as and then choose the appropriate, matching symbol - "square" "circle."
♦ What Shape?
Level 2 - Students have to look at the image of the bird, recognise which 2D shape it is hiding as and then choose the appropriate, matching symbols to start building short sentences "square bird", "pentagon bird."

Each book comes with instructions included on the first page on how you can put this book together to get the best possible use out of it.

The vocabulary is suitable for American or British classrooms. (Color, Colour etc.)

These books are great to help students build up and work on their sentences. It encourages students to select the correct words(symbols) to match the picture they are looking at as well as being able to place them in the correct order to build an appropriate sentence.

All images/vocabulary is linked to the theme of Spring.
